Role Overview: As a Cost Estimator at our client, a global leader in water technology and services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the competitiveness of costs for all tenders and bids. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Maintaining a depository of cost database and inviting offers for high-value projects to determine the lowest cost for pricing. - Establishing rate contracts for key supply components by maintaining a regular relationship with the supply chain at all levels. - Collaborating with the Procurement team to facilitate the placement of purchase orders at the post-award stage. - Assisting in distributing the workload among suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and engagement. - Building a strong market network through suppliers to gather market intelligence on equipment costs, commercial terms, and deliveries. - Networking with suppliers and analyzing customer buying trends to establish competitive cost benchmarks. - Advising on setting up cost structures to streamline product business by integrating new suppliers for cost efficiency and expedited deliveries. - Overseeing all material costs for the pre and post-award stages to maintain the company's long-term competitiveness. Qualifications Required: - Total Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience - Education: B.E Mechanical / Civil - Location: Pune - Notice period: Immediate joiner to one month - Mode: Work from Office - Working Days: 5 days a week, Weekend off,
