Role Summary

As the Control Room Manager, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of Yulu’s city operations by running the control room effectively. You will play a key role in making sure our bikes are available, maintained, and used efficiently across Bangalore. This role is about being

the “nerve center” of the city operations—monitoring, coordinating, and solving problems in real time.


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Monitoring:

  • Run the control room on a 24x7 basis to track bike availability, utilization, and issues.
  • Monitor live dashboards for bike health, faults, and demand supply across clusters.
  • Ensure timely response to breakdowns, stuck bikes, and rider support requirements.

Team & Process Management:

  • Lead the control room team, set clear responsibilities, and ensure SOPs are followed.
  • Continuously improve processes, data tracking, and coordination across clusters.
  • Identify operational gaps, find root causes, and drive quick resolutions.

Coordination & Reporting:

  • Work closely with cluster managers, mechanics, and marshals to balance supply and demand.
  • Escalate requirements (tech, spares, staffing) to city leadership and central teams.
  • Share daily/weekly performance updates on bike utilization, availability, and rider experience.

Business Impact :

  • Contribute to city KPIs: bike uptime, utilization %, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the smooth running of workshops, maintenance hubs, and roadside assistance.
  • Use data insights to reduce faults and increase the efficiency of fleet operations.


Key Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in operations/fleet management/logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with dashboards and reports.
  • Hands-on problem solver with the ability to make quick decisions.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate across teams.
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset—ready to handle fast-paced situations.
  • (Preferred) MBA or prior experience in the shared mobility/logistics industry.
