Role Overview

Content Creator & Copywriter

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Ideation

  • Develop creative content ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube aligned with skincare & beauty culture.
  • Write compelling captions, taglines, product descriptions, and ad copy that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Plan and execute content calendars with innovative campaign ideas (festive, product launches, influencer collabs).
  • Brainstorm and script short-form video concepts (Reels, TikToks, Shorts).
  • Collaborate with design and video teams to bring ideas to life.

Copywriting & Storytelling

  • Write clear, witty, and scroll-stopping copy for posts, stories, reels, ads, and emailers.
  • Ensure brand voice consistency across all communication.
  • Transform technical skincare info into relatable, fun, and viral-friendly messaging.
  • Support influencer collaborations by drafting creative briefs and content hooks.

Trend Spotting & Adaptation

  • Track viral content formats, memes, and trending topics across beauty & lifestyle.
  • Quickly adapt trends into Communal’s brand voice.
  • Suggest new creative strategies to maximize reach and engagement.

Performance & Optimization

  • Work with the marketing team to test which copy styles and content formats perform best.
  • Continuously improve content based on analytics and audience feedback.

Core Competencies

  • Strong writing skills with a knack for short, catchy, and impactful copy.
  • Creative mindset with storytelling ability for beauty/skincare content.
  • Awareness of social media trends, memes, and internet culture.
  • Understanding of brand positioning and tone of voice.
  • Ability to juggle multiple campaigns under tight deadlines.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in content planning tools (Notion, Trello, or similar).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Basic Canva skills for quick mock-ups and idea visualization (bonus).
  • Knowledge of SEO and ad copywriting is a plus.

Personal Attributes

  • Trend-savvy, witty, and culturally tuned in to Gen Z/millennial aesthetics.
  • Self-starter with fresh ideas and a strong creative instinct.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on brand consistency.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and quick on execution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience

    in content creation and/or copywriting, preferably in skincare, beauty, or lifestyle brands.(preferred)
  • Freshers can apply too.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of creative campaigns, captions, and content.
  • Prior experience working with social media/influencer-driven brands is a plus.
  • This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune.
