Role Overview
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the organization’s adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations. The role involves monitoring, assessing, and reporting on compliance risks while promoting a culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory frameworks and evaluate their impact.
- File statutory reports and returns with regulatory authorities within deadlines.
Policy & Process Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Periodically review and update internal policies to align with legal requirements.
- Ensure employee awareness and adherence to compliance protocols.
Monitoring & Auditing
- Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and internal control checks.
- Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and oversee implementation.
- Maintain compliance records and dashboards for management review.
Risk & Governance
- Assess compliance risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote ethical business practices.
- Support corporate governance frameworks and compliance certifications.
Training & Awareness
- Conduct compliance training and awareness sessions for employees.
- Act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related queries.
Reporting
- Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities.
- Escalate violations or potential risks promptly to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Graduate in Law / Finance / Commerce / Business AdministrationExperience:
2–6 years in payroll, compliance, audit, legal, or risk management roles.Knowledge:
Strong understanding of statutory laws, regulatory frameworks, and industry-specific compliance requirements.Skills:
Payroll and Statutory Compliance
PF, ESIC, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, and LWF
payroll software (SAP, ADP, GreytHR, etc.)

-->Integrity, confidentiality, and high ethical standards
-->Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management tools
