About Us
SucSEED Indovation Fund is an early-stage focused SEBI-registered Category-1 Fund with a corpus of INR 200 Crore and a portfolio of more than 60 companies across various sectors. SucSEED has set up a Growth Fund at GIFT City under the IFSCA regime.
About The Position
SucSEED is seeking a proactive, organized, and experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer with excellent organizational and management skills to support the funds. The candidate will be based out of GIFT City, Gandhinagar / Ahmedabad. We are looking for a highly motivated, tech-savvy, hands-on manager who takes initiative and flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Ensure compliance with IFSCA regulations, SEBI AIF regulations, SEZ regulations and lead compliance and risk management for the SucSEED Indovation Global Fund, GIFT City.
- Build infrastructure, systems, and processes for GIFT City compliances and overall risk management.
- Handle statutory filings and submissions specific to GIFT City, including renewals of certificates, licenses, leases, and periodic reporting.
- Serve as subject-matter expert on core compliance policies and underlying regulatory requirements; maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, focus areas, and risk themes affecting operations.
- Identify and analyze key regulatory risks as part of business-as-usual processes.
- Define a broad Risk Management Framework for the Fund and set risk thresholds consistent with the Fund’s risk appetite.
- Oversee investment transactions to manage various risk types within the agreed framework and thresholds.
- Liaise with regulators, trustees, auditors, and other external stakeholders as required.
- Continuously monitor regulatory changes and ensure adherence, particularly for IFSC, SEBI AIF, and SEZ requirements.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, increase transparency, and enhance issue identification through relevant metrics and reporting.
- Compile and maintain statutory reports and information for submission to boards and regulatory / statutory authorities (IFSCA, GIFT SEZ, AMCs, trustees, RBI, SEBI, AMFI, etc.).
- Draft Scheme Information Documents and ensure timely submissions to IFSCA; update Scheme Information Documents and Statements of Additional Information within prescribed timeframes.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in a compliance role with a SEBI-registered AIF / fund manager, portfolio manager, investment advisor, research analyst entity, or in the financial services sector. NO DEVIATIONS accepted.
- Professional qualification: Candidate should be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), preferably in combination with Chartered Accountant (CA) or a law degree from an Indian institution.
- Experience handling compliance for a listed company for a minimum of 3 years.
- Strongly tech-oriented: ability to work with SaaS tools, Google Docs, and collaboration platforms to read, review, and manage documents online.
Desired Skills
- Good drafting skills with an understanding of AIF business and fund structures.
- Experience in the financial services sector and fund operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain cordial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working with stakeholders in matrixed organizational structures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluency in English and Hindi preferred.
- Ambitious, passionate, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Mode of Work
Hybrid with onsite reporting at GIFT City, Gandhinagar / Ahmedabad. This is primarily an on-site role with a regular presence expected at the office. Occasional travel to the head office in Hyderabad and to portfolio locations will be required. Any flexibility for remote work will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must align with the Fund’s operational needs.What Do You Get in Return?
