Role OverviewThe Compliance Executive – HR & Admin will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end compliance with statutory regulations and HR processes. This role involves handling payroll, statutory benefits, taxation, and insurance while also managing onboarding formalities, employee benefits, and HR administration. The individual will act as a key link between employees, management, and government authorities to ensure smooth compliance operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Statutory Management• Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Shops & Establishment Act, and other applicable statutory regulations.
• Manage statutory filings, inspections, audits, and renewals.
• Maintain accurate compliance-related documentation and records.
Payroll & Taxation• Process and validate monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary, overtime, deductions, and arrears.
• Manage TDS, income tax calculations, and filings in coordination with finance.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws related to wages and deductions.
Employee Benefits & Insurance• Administer employee benefit programs including Provident Fund, ESI, gratuity, leave encashment, and other statutory benefits.
• Handle insurance-related activities such as Group Medical Coverage (GMC), Accident Insurance (ARC), and other employee insurance policies.
• Address employee queries related to claims, reimbursements, and benefits.
Onboarding & HR Operations• Oversee employee onboarding formalities, including documentation, background verification, ID creation, and induction.
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems.
• Support in exit formalities including full & final settlement and compliance clearances.
General HR & Admin Support• Assist in HR audits and internal reviews.
• Liaise with government authorities, auditors, consultants, and insurance providers.
• Ensure compliance-related SOPs, policies, and processes are updated and communicated.
Key Skills & Competencies• Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and HR statutory requirements.
• Experience in payroll processing and taxation.
• Attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, HRMS/Payroll software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling employee and organizational data.
Qualifications & Experience• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Commerce, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in HR compliance, payroll, and administration.
• Experience in handling PF, ESI, payroll, and insurance administration is mandatory.
