Company Secretary

Description We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and maintaining statutory records for the company. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and other relevant regulations. Maintain the statutory registers and records of the company. Prepare and file necessary documents with the Registrar of Companies. Coordinate and facilitate board meetings and shareholder meetings. Draft minutes of meetings and resolutions and ensure accurate documentation. Advise the board of directors on corporate governance practices and compliance matters. Handle legal correspondence and maintain legal records. Manage communication with regulatory authorities and stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI. Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, corporate governance, and compliance regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with financial regulations and corporate law. Proficient in MS Office and company secretarial software.
