Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis (Bakery) to join our team at Marriott International, contributing to the success of our bakery operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Bakery Chef in planning and preparing high-quality baked goods and pastries.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Develop new recipes and menus to enhance the bakery's offerings.
Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure all products meet quality standards before presentation.

Job Requirements

Proven experience in a bakery or pastry chef role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of dough mixing, baking techniques, and decorating methods.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
