Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commi 2 - Bakery to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bakery operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality bakery products.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the bakery's offerings.
Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commi 2 or similar role in a bakery or pastry chef position.
Strong knowledge of bakery equipment and ingredients.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
