  • Opportunity for Deputy Manager/Manager Business development- Bangalore

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all applicable regulations governing group captive energy arrangements to ensure ongoing compliance.
    • Calculate energy allocations and determine applicable energy losses for Group Captive consumers, leveraging your strong technical background.
    • Serve as a primary liaison with government authorities and Channel Partners, ensuring clear and effective communication.
    • Oversee and execute all Management Information System (MIS) tasks related to:
    • Energy allocation reporting
    • Power supply updates
    • Payment tracking
    • Calculation and reconciliation of Open Access charges
    • Coordinate with relevant government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders to remain aligned with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional internal teams to compile and analyze data on:
    • Energy generation volumes
    • Payment and invoicing flows
    • Audit documentation and filing needs
    • Be willing to travel as required to engage with government regulators, channel partners, and other key stakeholders.
    • Experience & Technical Requirements

      Experience:

      • Proven track record in Customer Relationship Management, ideally handling energy sector or B2B stakeholders.
      • Hands-on experience in calculating energy allocations, applicable charges, and loss assessments for Group Captive energy consumers.

      Technical Skills:

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel.
      • Advanced competence in Excel—pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, data modeling—for preparing reports, performing energy allocation analytics, and calculating transmission or consumption losses.

      Regulatory & Domain Knowledge:

      • Deep understanding of Group Captive regulations under the Electricity Act 2003 and Electricity Rules 2005, including recent amendments
      • Awareness of the compliance framework, including regulatory filings, certification requirements, and ongoing verification standards by bodies such as CEA, CERC, and relevant SERCs/SLDCs .

      Communication Skills:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of interacting effectively with government regulators, regulatory bodies (e.g. CEA, CERC), channel partners, and internal teams.
      • Bilingual proficiency in English and Kannada is highly desirable to facilitate smooth correspondence and stakeholder engagement, especially with local authorities and suppliers.
