Role & responsibilities 1. To lead and coordinate the preparation, negotiation, and successful finalization of government bids and proposals, including technical, financial, and contractual aspects, in both operation and maintenance projects in water and wastewater treatment. 2. Process knowledge of water, wastewater treatment, and reuse with various technologies. 3. Works in close coordination with the sales and marketing teams. 4. Responsible for these proposals from the pre-bid stage until project award, including being directly involved in design and value engineering, negotiations, and cost estimation for water and wastewater. 5. Manages the full cycle of the proposal effort/activity, from gathering inputs and developing estimates to the timely final submission and competitive bid. 6. Accountable for the timely production of all proposal deliverables knowledge of mass balance, process flow diagrams, plant layout, P&ID, and HFD 7. Provides expertise and active input towards defining the project execution and delivery strategies 8. Supports the sales and marketing team in meetings with clients and is a key contributor to presentations and negotiations. 9. Attending pre-bid meeting and preparation of pre-bid queries along with site assessment 10. Management of vendor database 11. Sales and Procurement skills 12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 13. Excellent communication and presentation skills 14. Preparation of BOQ and detailed cost estimation. 15. Bid presentation to management to finalize bid price.
