Job Title: Production Head – Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Reports To: Managing Director / Operations Head
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Head to oversee the complete manufacturing operations of commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, fryers, cooking ranges, cold rooms, and other stainless-steel fabricated products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and a proven track record in managing end-to-end production—from planning and material procurement to assembly, testing, and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Execution
Plan, organize, and control the production schedule to meet delivery timelines.
Allocate resources efficiently and ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Sales teams for smooth workflow.
2. Manufacturing Operations
Oversee fabrication, assembly, welding, polishing, and final finishing of stainless-steel kitchen equipment.
Ensure proper functioning of CNC, laser cutting, bending, and other machinery.
Supervise installation, wiring, and testing of electrical & refrigeration components.
3. Quality Assurance
Implement and maintain quality control procedures at all stages of production.
Ensure all products meet safety and performance standards.
Conduct final inspections before dispatch.
4. Team Management
Lead and manage a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators.
Conduct regular performance reviews and technical training.
Promote teamwork and maintain discipline on the shop floor.
5. Cost & Inventory Control
Monitor production costs, wastage, and downtime to optimize efficiency.
Coordinate with the purchase department for timely availability of raw materials.
Maintain records of materials consumption and inventory levels.
6. Process Improvement & Maintenance
Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices.
Ensure preventive maintenance of all production machinery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity enhancement.
7. Safety & Compliance
Enforce factory safety rules and ensure compliance with statutory norms.
Maintain a clean and organized production environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in production management, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment / refrigeration / fabrication industry.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, TIG/MIG welding, assembly, and testing.
Understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems used in kitchen equipment.
Proficiency in production planning, manpower management, and ERP tools.

Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹ 60,000 per month (based on experience and capability)
