Job Description

Commercial Executive Procurement & Contracts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, checking, and certification of

    RA Bills, Final Bills, Measurement Books (MBs)

    , and related commercial documentation.
  • Preparation, review, and administration of

    Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Subcontract Agreements

    in line with approved BOQs and contract terms.
  • Coordination with

    site/project engineers, planning, and billing teams

    for quantity measurement, progress verification, and billing reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update

    vendor and subcontractor commercial records

    , including rates, terms & conditions, amendments, and variations.
  • Support

    vendor/subcontractor negotiations

    , rate finalization, and commercial comparisons.
  • Track

    contract values, variations, recoveries, deductions, and advances

    , ensuring compliance with contractual provisions.
  • Assist in

    budget monitoring, cost control, variance analysis

    , and commercial reporting to management.
  • Ensure timely submission and approval of

    billing, work orders, and commercial documents

    as per project schedules.
  • Address and resolve

    commercial, billing, and contract-related queries

    from site teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support audits and ensure proper

    documentation, filing, and record-keeping

    as per company and project requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience

    in commercial, procurement, contracts, or billing roles in

    construction / EPC / infrastructure projects

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    construction contracts, subcontracting, procurement, and billing processes

    .
  • Hands-on experience in

    RA billing, BOQ-based billing, measurements, and work order preparation

    .
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel

    , ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / other construction ERPs preferred).
  • Good knowledge of

    cost control, variance analysis, and commercial reporting

    .
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and capable of handling multiple site and vendor interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in

    Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience in

    large-scale infrastructure / industrial / power / EPC projects

    will be an added advantage.
