Job Title: Stores Executive

Job Summary

Stores Executive with 1 to 3 years of experience in the construction industry

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Receipt & Issue (Construction Materials)

• Handle inward and outward of

  construction materials

  such as cement, steel, aggregates, pipes, cables, equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Verify materials as per

  Purchase Order (PO)

  and delivery challan.
• Prepare

  Goods Receipt Note (GRN)

  and ensure timely documentation.
• Check for quality and quantity mismatches and coordinate with purchase/vendors.
  

2. Inventory & Store Management

• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper stacking by category (steel, cement, electrical, mechanical, civil consumables, etc.).
• Conduct

  daily/weekly/monthly

  inventory checks and assist in audits.
• Keep track of fast-moving and critical materials and update minimum stock levels.
• Ensure secure and correct storage to avoid damage, moisture issues, or theft.
  

3. Documentation & Systems

• Update daily stock movement in

  Excel / ERP / Inventory software

  .
• Prepare consumption reports, stock registers, and reconciliation reports.
• Maintain digital records of invoices, delivery challans, and material request forms.
  

4. Coordination

• Coordinate with

  Site Engineers, Project Manager, Purchase, and Accounts

  for material requirements.
• Support material planning for daily site activities.
• Ensure timely issue of materials as per site indent.
  

5. Housekeeping & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.
• Monitor material shelf life (cement bags, paints, chemicals, etc.).
  

Candidate Requirements

• Experience:

  1 to 3 years mandatory in

  construction / EPC / infrastructure

  site stores.

• Qualification:

  Graduate / Diploma preferred in commerce, logistics, or engineering.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong computer proficiency (

  Excel, Word, Email

  ; ERP knowledge preferred).
• Basic understanding of construction materials and codes.
  

• Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail, coordination, time management, and record-keeping.
