Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to manage and streamline our accounts receivable process. This role will focus on tracking outstanding payments from clients, resolving billing issues, and ensuring smooth financial operations across Hustle Hub locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor tenant/client accounts and identify overdue payments.
  • Contact clients professionally via phone, email, or in-person to follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Maintain a record of all communications and follow-up activities in our internal system.
  • Collaborate with the front desk, community managers, and finance team to resolve discrepancies in billing.
  • Escalate persistent non-payment issues to management or legal teams as required.
  • Send regular reminders and generate collection reports weekly/monthly.
  • Ensure accurate updating of payment status and ledger entries.
  • Support the finance team in generating invoices and payment receipts as needed.
  • Help maintain a healthy cash flow by reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role (experience in coworking, hospitality, or real estate is a plus).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/invoicing software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Ability to manage sensitive client relationships with professionalism.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Kannada or Hindi is a plus.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with coworking or leasing payment structures (e.g., deposits, recurring billing, usage-based services).
