Role Overview

Co-Founder – Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Product & Engineering Leadership
  • Own end-to-end

    mechanical design and system architecture

    of climbing, crawling, and inspection robots.
  • Design for

    extreme environments

    (high temperature, corrosion, magnetic & non-magnetic surfaces, confined spaces).
  • Lead development of

    modular, scalable robotic platforms

    (MX Series).
  • Oversee

    DFMEA, DFx, and reliability engineering

    for industrial-grade deployment.
  • Drive

    design-for-manufacturing (DFM)

    and

    design-for-assembly (DFA)

    .
⚙️ Technology & Innovation
  • Develop advanced mechanisms for:
  • Vertical & inverted locomotion
  • Multi-surface adhesion (magnetic, vacuum, hybrid)
  • Payload optimization & stability
  • Collaborate on sensor integration (UT, vision, LIDAR, AI cameras).
  • Lead rapid prototyping, testing, validation, and iteration cycles.
🏭 Manufacturing & Scale-Up
  • Build and own the

    manufacturing roadmap

    from prototype → pilot → scaled production.
  • Work with vendors, fabricators, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost optimization.
  • Define production SOPs, QA/QC, and field deployment standards.
🤝 Strategic & Leadership Role
  • Act as

    technical co-founder

    in investor and customer discussions.
  • Contribute to patent strategy and IP roadmap.
  • Mentor engineering teams and build a high-performance culture.
  • Support certification processes (ATEX, PESO, ISO, etc.).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Mandatory
  • B.Tech / M.Tech in

    Mechanical / Mechatronics / Robotics

    from a top engineering institute.
  • 8–15+ years of experience in

    mechanical product development

    .
  • Proven experience in:
  • Robotics / Automation / Industrial Equipment
  • Design for harsh or hazardous environments
  • CAD (SolidWorks / Creo / CATIA)
  • Rapid prototyping & testing
Strongly Preferred
  • Experience with

    industrial robotics, inspection robots, or heavy engineering products

    .
  • Prior startup or deep-tech product exposure.
  • Experience taking hardware from

    prototype → production → field deployment

    .
  • Understanding of

    structural analysis, dynamics, and materials engineering

    .
