We are looking for a hands-on, product-obsessed technical Co-Founder who will serve as the CTO. You will own the entire technology strategy and execution, from designing the architecture and developing the MVP to scaling the platform and building a future engineering team. Your deep expertise in both AI/ML and full-stack development will be the engine of our company. Key Responsibilities Technical Vision & Strategy: Define the long-term technology roadmap, making critical decisions on stack, infrastructure, and architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance. Full-Stack Development: Build, ship, and iterate on a beautiful, functional, and robust web application. You will own both the front-end and back-end. AI/ML System Design & Implementation: Architect, train, deploy, and maintain machine learning models. You will be responsible for the entire ML pipeline—from data collection and preprocessing to model serving and monitoring in a production environment. Product Leadership: Work directly with the other co-founder(s) to translate business needs and user stories into technical requirements and a tangible product. Your input will shape the product itself. DevOps & Infrastructure: Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools to ensure a reliable and efficient development process. Future Team Building: Eventually, lead the hiring process for future engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation. Who You Are (The Ideal Profile) Non-Negotiable Qualities: Founder Mentality: You are a self-starter, incredibly resourceful, and thrive in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup. You are driven by building something great, not just writing code. Ownership & Accountability: You take full ownership of outcomes. You don't say "that's not my job." Product Intuition: You care deeply about the user experience and business impact, not just the elegance of the code. Exceptional Communicator: You can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical co-founders, potential investors, and early customers. Technical Skills (Must-Have): AI/ML Expertise: Proven experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models into production. Strong proficiency in Python and key libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face). Experience with MLOps tools for versioning, orchestration, and deployment (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker) is a huge plus. Back-End Development: Expertise in building scalable RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Proficiency in one or more modern server-side frameworks (e.g., Node.js/Express, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Spring Boot). Strong knowledge of database design and management (SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL; and/or NoSQL: MongoDB, DynamoDB). Front-End Development: Expertise in a modern JavaScript framework (React is highly preferred, but Vue or Angular acceptable). Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with state management, component libraries, and building responsive, user-centric interfaces. DevOps & Cloud: Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a strong advantage. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CDK) is a plus. Nice-to-Have (What will make you stand out): Previous startup or co-founder experience. Experience in our specific industry domain: [e.g., E-commerce, Healthcare IT, etc.]. A public portfolio (GitHub, personal website, past projects). Experience with data engineering and building ETL pipelines.
