Job Overview

We’re looking for someone who understands the cloud ecosystem inside-out, has hands-on experience in selling cloud solutions, and knows what it takes to keep a business moving forward. This is a strong execution role, ideal for someone who’s done the groundwork, knows how to build business, and can lead a growing team to success.

You’ll be expected to manage the entire sales cycle, build long-term relationships with clients, and ensure day-to-day operations within the cloud vertical run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Own and drive cloud sales targets across key accounts and new business
  • Identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term client partnerships
  • Build proposals, present solutions, handle objections, and close deals

Client Engagement & Account Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Build credibility and long-term trust through consistent delivery and communication
  • Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a growing team of cloud consultants and sales professionals
  • Set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide timely feedback
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning
  • Be the person the team turns to for guidance, support, and clarity

Operational & Reporting Oversight

  • Maintain and manage accurate sales pipeline data using tools like Excel, CRM, or dashboards
  • Share regular performance reports with leadership and highlight key risks or opportunities
  • Coordinate with delivery and operations teams for smooth project handoffs and timelines
  • Flag potential delays or client escalations early and resolve proactively


What We’re Looking For

  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in cloud sales, or business development
  • A solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent) and their business use-cases
  • Strong ability to convert conversations into revenue
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both externally with clients and internally with teams
  • A strong sense of ownership — someone who follows through and makes things happen
  • Structured approach to sales execution, client handling, and team coordination
  • Experience working with mid-size or enterprise clients
