Role: City Manager – Pune

As City Manager, you’ll be responsible for owning and scaling BatteryPool’s business in Pune. You’ll manage daily operations, build local partnerships, oversee a ground team, and be accountable for revenue, collections, and customer experience in the city.

• Key Responsibilities:

  Own the full P&L for Pune city operations
• Deploy and manage BatteryPool’s rental, EMI, and sales models
• Build and manage relationships with fleet operators, driver partners, dealers, and vendors
• Supervise and grow local field teams: operations executives, technicians, collection agents
• Ensure high uptime and utilization of charging/swapping infrastructure
• Track daily metrics – revenue, usage, collections, churn
• Drive efficiency, cost control, and operational excellence
• Collaborate with central teams across product, finance, and operations
• Execute city-level growth and expansion strategies

• Requirements:

  3–6 years of experience in city operations, fleet management, EVs, or mobility/logistics startups
• Experience managing field teams and handling ground-level execution
• Strong problem-solving and execution ability in fast-paced environments
• Data-driven mindset; comfort with tools like Excel, dashboards, and CRMs
• Based in Pune or willing to relocate
