Circle Business Head

This profile give opportunity to drive meaningful impact, scale secured lending operations, and shape the financial ecosystem in India's non-metro regions.


Responsibilities

Business Growth & P&L Ownership

  • Own and deliver circle-level P&L, AOP targets, ROA, and ROE
  • Drive business growth across secured lending products (LAP, Home Loans, Secured Business Loans, Working Capital Finance)
  • Boost revenue through renewals, balance transfers, cross-selling, and top-ups
  • Leverage local insights and competition mapping to define growth strategies

Branch Network Expansion & Distribution

  • Expand and manage a network of 25+ full-service branches
  • Finalize branch locations, manage lease agreements, and oversee setup
  • Drive local sourcing through events, exhibitions, roadshows, and MSME outreach

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead a team of 46 Regional Business Heads, 25+ Branch Managers, and 75100 team members
  • Recruit, mentor, and build leadership capability across levels
  • Promote a performance-driven culture focused on customer experience and compliance

Compliance, Risk & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure strong compliance with regulatory guidelines, audits, and internal processes
  • Monitor TATs, cost efficiency, recovery rates, and sourcing quality
  • Manage local regulatory adherence, property laws, and repossession protocols

Market Intelligence & Partnerships

  • Build relationships with local authorities, legal networks, and fraud control agencies
  • Use market knowledge to identify new growth areas and manage risks
  • Stay updated on industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity

Experience

  • 14–18 years of leadership experience in Banking or NBFCs
  • Hands-on P&L management and multi-location team handling
  • Expertise in secured lending: LAP, HL, Working Capital, Secured BL
  • Strong experience in both sales and collections in MSME/B2B/B2C segments

Market Knowledge

  • Good understanding of regional markets and customer needs
  • Familiarity with audit, compliance, risk, and regulatory processes
  • Ability to manage local stakeholders including legal bodies and regulators

Leadership Traits

  • Proven ability to build and scale distribution networks
  • Experience in leading large, diverse teams across geographies
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on results and execution

Personal Attributes

  • High integrity, strong business acumen, and result orientation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
