About ZOTH: ZOTH is redefining the boundaries between Traditional Finance and Onchain Finance through innovations. With $5M+ in funding from top-tier investors like Ripple, Taisu Venture, and Chainlink, our roadmap is filled with innovative product launches, cross-chain integrations, and real-world utility—we’re searching for a visionary CTO to scale our technology and engineering organization. Role Summary As CTO, you’ll be responsible for the overall technology strategy and execution, working closely with the CEO and Founding Team. You’ll lead protocol design, smart contract development, backend scalability, DevSecOps, and architecting high-performance, secure infrastructure spanning multiple chains. You’ll also drive hiring, manage engineering roadmaps, and represent the company in the broader Web3 and investor ecosystem. Responsibilities: Own the technology roadmap aligned with product and business goals Architect and oversee the development of smart contracts, dApps, APIs, and backend systems Lead and grow a world-class, remote-first engineering team Ensure security, scalability, and composability across all deployed protocols and services Drive cross-chain and Layer 2 integrations to enhance user experience and yield aggregation Work with product, community, and strategy teams to rapidly test, iterate, and deploy features. Establish and own engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, audits, and documentation Be a public-facing technical leader for investors, partners, and the DeFi community. Must Have Requirements: 5+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in Web3 or DeFi Deep Solidity + EVM experience (bonus: Rust, zk, or Cosmos SDK) Knowledge of core DeFi concepts: staking, liquidity pools, CDPs, yield aggregation A builder’s mindset with strong security, scalability, and product intuition Understand DeFi protocols deeply (staking, lending, liquidity, vaults, CDPs) Have led small, async-first, globally distributed teams Thrive in zero-to-one environments with high autonomy and ownership Bonus points if you have launched a protocol, open-source repo, or contributed to DAOs Cultural Fit: Demonstrated alignment with ZOTH's values.
