Founders Careers is working with a Series-A stage health-tech startup who are building world-class fitness products. Their flagship product simplifies home fitness with real-time feedback, personalized workout plans, and health tracking using AI and computer vision. FC is helping them find product leaders to lead their flagship products.


Role Overview:

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the company’s technology vision, architecture, and strategic roadmap.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in software development, embedded systems, hardware engineering, and AI/ML.
  • Oversee end-to-end tech product development, from ideation to launch and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Integrate IoT components and sensors into custom hardware systems with seamless user experience.
  • Drive development of proprietary AI and ML models that power real-time personalization and intelligent recommendations.
  • Build and scale a secure, scalable, and high-performance platform architecture.
  • Work closely with Product, Content, and Business teams to align technical capabilities with commercial goals.
  • Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing technical team.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation across the tech stack.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end software development and complex system integration.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing high-performance technical teams.
  • Deep hands-on experience with IoT systems and electronic hardware integration.
  • Strong background in building and deploying AI/ML-powered applications and data-driven platforms.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and aligning technology with business strategy.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in technology roles, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in connected hardware, wearable tech, or health & fitness devices.
  • Familiarity with motion capture, edge computing, and embedded system design.
  • Experience in startup environments, particularly in scaling platforms and teams.
