Role Overview: As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO at Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, you will play a pivotal role in leading the University's technological initiatives to ensure seamless ERP management, IT infrastructure optimization, networking excellence, cybersecurity enforcement, and digital innovation support. Your strategic and operational responsibilities will involve overseeing various technology functions to drive VGUs technological excellence and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and optimize the University's ERP system for admissions, fees, examinations, faculty attendance, leave management, and administrative workflows. Coordinate with TCS support teams and internal stakeholders for ERP maintenance, upgrades, issue resolutions, and custom developments. Ensure user training, documentation, system audits, and process improvements for enhanced ERP utilization. - Supervise end-to-end IT infrastructure including servers, broadband networks, Wi-Fi access points, firewall systems, backup systems, and related hardware/software assets. Ensure 24/7 uptime, reliability, scalability, and high-performance networking across all campuses and facilities. Plan and execute hardware/software procurement and upgrades aligned with the University's growth needs. - Establish and enforce IT security protocols to safeguard University systems, data, and user privacy. Conduct periodic IT risk assessments, cybersecurity audits, and data protection drills. Implement security layers for email servers, ERP access, Wi-Fi networks, and cloud platforms. - Formulate, update, and implement comprehensive IT policies covering ERP usage, data governance, information security, acceptable use, disaster recovery, and system access controls. Ensure alignment of IT operations with UGC, AICTE, NAAC, and other statutory compliance requirements. Support marketing teams in web-based campaigns and digital outreach initiatives. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related disciplines (mandatory). - Master's degree (M.Tech, MBA-IT, or related fields) preferred. - 10-15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in higher education institutions, consulting firms, large enterprises, or technology service providers. - Strong hands-on experience with ERP management (TCS iON, SAP, Oracle PeopleSoft, or similar platforms). - Extensive experience in network administration, cybersecurity management, and IT operations leadership. - Technical expertise in ERP Systems Management, Networking, Cybersecurity, IT Policy drafting and implementation, Web technologies, CMS platforms, and Server Administration. - Core skills include strategic thinking, project management, vendor management, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration.
