Chief Information Security Officer

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our enterprise security strategy and governance function. This is a senior leadership role requiring an exceptional balance of executive presence, compliance leadership, and the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security leader and trusted advisor to the executive team, board, and audit committee, demonstrating strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex security and risk topics in business terms.
• Lead and grow the compliance and governance function, ensuring adherence to global regulations, frameworks, and industry standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, SOX, etc.).
• Provide thought leadership on security certifications and regulatory requirements, enabling the organization to meet and exceed customer and industry expectations.
• Act as an incident commander when required, effectively managing critical security incidents, customer escalations, and cross-functional crisis communication.
• Champion a “security automation first” mindset to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across compliance and risk programs.
• Partner with demanding enterprise customers, regulators, and stakeholders, balancing risk with business priorities while ensuring trust and transparency.
• Oversee operational security functions such as SOC management and incident response — with a strong focus on governance, compliance, and executive communication rather than day-to-day operations.
• Provide thought leadership in modern security architectures, including Zero Trust, IAM, micro-segmentation, and secure cloud adoption.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Proven executive presence with experience presenting to boards, audit committees, and C-level stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2).
• Excellent analytical and technical acumen, with the ability to drive an automation-led compliance strategy.
• Hands-on experience building and managing compliance and risk teams at a global scale.
• Demonstrated leadership during major security incidents, with proven crisis management and communication skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex technical issues into clear, business-focused language.
• Familiarity with SOC operations, security tooling, and monitoring practices (secondary to governance and compliance expertise).
