Role & responsibilities

CEO

* Develop and articulate the long-term strategic plan for MML, aligned with the Groups vision.

• Lead business expansion into new geographies, products, and channels (digital, retail, branch, online).
• Oversight of financial performance: revenue growth, margins, asset quality, cost management, risk metrics.
• Ensure robust governance frameworks, compliance with RBI/NBFC regulations, fair-practice codes.
• Build and nurture a high-performance leadership team, drive culture, talent development.
• Represent the company externally: stakeholders, investors, regulators, media.
• Drive innovation in gold-loan processes, fintech integration, customer experience.
• Monitor and manage macro-economic, industry, regulatory changes and their impact on business.

COO

* Manage branch network operations, branch opening/closure, branch productivity, branch staff performance.

• Oversee back-office operations: credit processing, disbursement, collections, recovery, customer service.
• Drive process improvements, operational excellence, cost efficiency, automation of workflows.
• Monitor operational risk and controls: audit findings, fraud management, gold-pledge procedures, compliance with fair practice code.
• Implement digital operations initiatives: workflow automation, analytics, dashboarding, mobile/portal integrations.
• Coordination with CFO/CTO/HR for seamless integration across functions.
• Manage branch network operations, branch opening/closure, branch productivity, branch staff performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: MBA/PGDM in Finance/Business Administration or equivalent; CA/ICWA/CFA would be advantageous.
• Minimum 15-20 years experience in financial services/ NBFC/ banking, with at least 5-8 years in senior leadership (C-suite or business head).
• Proven track record of delivering P&L growth, operational excellence, branch/retail/loan-book scale-up.
• Strong understanding of gold-loan business (advantageous) and broad lending structures.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution orientation, excellent communication & stakeholder management.
• Integrity, high ethical standards, deep understanding of regulatory environment and governance.
