US Tax Associate Location: Mumbai, India Work Arrangement: In-office/HybridHybrid or In-office A Day in the Life A typical day as a US Tax Associate in Mumbai, India might include the following, but is not limited to: Preparing tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, Individuals, and other areas including but not limited to Estate and Gift, Trusts and Non-profits, W-2s, 1099s. Collaborating with our teams in US and India to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed. Gathering relevant tax-related information from the Manager and/or client ensuring completeness and accuracy of the returns. Performing research activities as tax issues arise. Learning how to look at tax situations from various perspectives to ensure effective tax planning. Updating asset depreciation schedules timely and effectively. May be asked to assist others with general software troubleshooting issues and depreciation software. Attending professional development and training seminars on a regular basis. Performing other accounting and tax related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
