Position:

Chief Business Officer

Budget: Upto 40 LPA.

An esteemed client of ours into financial services is seeking a Chief Business Officer to lead the next phase of growth in financial product distribution. The role involves expanding current business operations and developing new markets both geographically and across product segments.

Skills Required:

• Leadership and team management abilities
• Customer-focused and result-oriented approach
• Strong relationships and connections in the financial product distribution domain
• In-depth knowledge of capital market products, especially for HNI and retail investors
• Thorough understanding of mutual fund products
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills

Qualification:

MBA/MFS or relevant graduate degree with appropriate experience.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of work experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have led sales teams and have prior experience in Financial Services, Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue generation, business growth, and market share for the company
• Develop and execute a medium-term business plan aligned with the Group’s strategy for ethical, sustainable, and profitable growth
• Build a strong sales and business development strategy
• Lead new product development and geographic expansion
• Finalize tie-ups with financial product manufacturers
• Develop and motivate a high-performing sales team
• Devise and implement sales strategies and campaigns
• Adopt a metrics-driven approach for sales incentives, performance management, rewards, and recognition
• Provide regular reports to the leadership team on progress, risks, and support required
• Stay ahead of market trends by interpreting customer, market, and technology shifts and sharing insights with leadership
• Be accountable for revenue and sales performance
