Job Description – Chief Business Officer (CBO)

Location: Bangalore

About the Role:

The Chief Business Officer (CBO) will be responsible for driving the company’s overall business strategy, growth, and profitability across all channels. This is a senior leadership role that requires a visionary thinker with strong execution skills, deep FMCG understanding, and the ability to scale brands across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business strategy formulation, execution, and continuous optimization to achieve growth targets.
• Oversee P&L management, forecasting, and business performance across channels (GT, MT, HORECA, E-commerce, and Exports).
• Develop and implement effective go-to-market and expansion strategies for new and existing products.
• Build and nurture strong distribution networks, trade partnerships, and retail presence.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Drive innovation in product portfolio and channel strategies.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Provide insights on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
• Represent the company in key stakeholder meetings, investor discussions, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in FMCG, preferably across Sales, Marketing, or Business Strategy.
• Proven track record of scaling business operations and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of FMCG distribution, trade dynamics, and consumer marketing.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Pay: ₹60,221.38 - ₹152,901.91 per month
