About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Accountant to lead our Finance and Accounts Department. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to guide and manage a team with authority and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Develop and enforce financial policies, internal controls, and compliance procedures in alignment with statutory and company standards.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounting team, ensuring discipline, accuracy, and timely completion of financial tasks.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external agencies to ensure compliance and successful audits.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities efficiently.
• Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other accounting records.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Ensure timely statutory payments (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.) and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with top management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

• Strong Authoritarian Leadership with the ability to command, organize, and discipline the team effectively.
• Proven ability to handle a large accounting team with professionalism and precision.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or equivalent).
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Professional certifications such as CA / CMA will be an added advantage.
