Job Summary

Parul University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented chemist to join our NABL accredited & GPCB recognized environment audit laboratory. This role is open to candidates who are eager to begin their careers in the field of environment auditing. It is a prerequisite to be familiar with the environment sampling and monitoring concept. The chemist will assist to perform environment sampling and analysis, prepare environment audit report, support GPCB environment audit activities, and assist in preparing documentation related to NABL, environment audit and adequacy work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ambient air monitoring & analysis.
• Assisting stationary source (stack) monitoring and analysis work at height.
• Do water and wastewater sampling & analysis.
• Perform soil and solid hazardous waste sampling & analysis.
• Perform ambient noise monitoring.
• Preparing draft environment audit report
• Maintaining environment audit records like site visit form, sample inward register, raw data calculation sheet and testing report compliance with NABL.
• Assist in preparing documentation related to NABL, GPCB environment audit.
• Support NABL internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and ensuring timely submission.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.

Knowledge:

Qualifications

• B.Sc/ Master’s degree in Chemistry/Environmental Science.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in the environment audit work.

Experience:

Mandatory Requirement:

· Candidate is ready to perform stack monitoring at height.

· During environment audit, candidate has to come to Parul University in the early morning and go to environment audit with team
