Chartered Accountant

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of financial activities, including reporting, analysis, compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and proficiency with financial software.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly books of accounts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Auditing & Compliance:
• Manage internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor queries.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations (e.g., GST, Income Tax), and company policies.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary to management on business performance.
• Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business cases.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting and financial control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
