Job Description

A Chartered Accountant in a construction company manages a project's financial health, focusing on job costing, budgeting, compliance, and risk management. Key duties include overseeing project financials, preparing financial statements and tax returns, managing subcontractor payments, and providing strategic financial advice to ensure projects are profitable and meet financial goals. They must also ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations. Key responsibilities

Project financial management: Oversee construction project budgets, monitor expenses and cash flow, and ensure financial data is accurate for decision-making.
Job costing and analysis: Track costs for specific projects, analyze profitability, and identify areas for cost savings.
Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, prepare financial statements, and file tax returns.
Accounts and vendor management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, process subcontractor payments, and monitor contracts and change orders.
Auditing and forecasting: Prepare for internal and external audits, assist with forecasting future financial outcomes, and implement financial controls.
Strategic financial advice: Provide financial insights to senior management and project managers to support project planning and financial strategy.
Financial systems: Implement and optimize financial systems and processes, potentially including specialized construction accounting software.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
