Role & responsibilities

Accounting & Finalization

- Finalize financial statements for entities across multiple jurisdictions as per relevant reporting frameworks IFRS, UAE/U.S. GAAP, and Indian Accounting Standards.

- Prepare and review trial balance, general ledgers, ledgers reconciliation, schedules, and adjustment entries for accurate closing.

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with client standards.

Group Consolidation & MIS Reporting

- Prepare consolidated financials for multi-entity corporate groups, eliminating intercompany transactions, and ensuring accuracy in group-level reporting.

- Create custom MIS reports for management using Excel/ERP exports, tailored to client requirements (budget vs actual, expense tracking, profit centers, etc.).

- Support clients in budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making with timely financial insights.

Audit & Assurance

- Execute and assist in internal and statutory audits for Indian and international entities (primarily Dubai).

- Prepare audit documentation, management representation letters (MRLs), and related working papers.

- Coordinate with external auditors and client teams to resolve queries and complete audits on time.

Taxation & Compliance

- Review and support VAT return preparation and filing (UAE), and ensure timely submission in compliance with FTA guidelines.

- Manage UAE-related compliance including ESR, UBO, AML, and liaising with local partners for clarity and submissions.

Client Communication & Team Management

- Act as the single point of contact for allocated international clients and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

- Coordinate directly with Dubai-based partners and their clients for document collection, clarifications, and final deliverables.

- Supervise junior accountants and article trainees, provide guidance, review their work, and support their training and development.
