Description
1. Channel Strategy & Development:
Develop and implement a regional channel strategy to expand market presence and achieve sales targets through an effective network of dealers and distributors.
Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners (dealers, sub-dealers, retail points) in alignment with the company’s expansion goals.
Evaluate market potential and define the optimal partner footprint for maximum coverage and sales productivity.
2. Partner Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact and build strong, long-term relationships with channel partners.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners to drive performance, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with Senso EV’s objectives.
Act as a liaison between partners and internal teams (marketing, supply chain, service) to address needs and resolve issues promptly.
3. Sales Target Achievement:
Own and be accountable for achieving primary and secondary sales targets (sell-in and sell-through) for the assigned region.
Develop joint business plans with key partners to drive growth and market share.
4. Training & Enablement:
Train and enable partner teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational processes to ensure they are effective brand ambassadors.
Ensure partners adhere to brand guidelines in their showrooms and customer interactions.
5. Market Intelligence & Analysis:
Monitor market trends, competitor channel activities, and partner performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Analyze sales data to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the channel.
6. Program Execution:
Roll out national channel programs, incentives, and promotions effectively within the region to motivate partners and drive sales.
Ensure optimal inventory levels at partner outlets to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: 4-6 years of experience in channel sales, distribution management, or key account management. Experience in the automotive, two-wheeler, consumer durable, or FMCG sectors is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
