Job Description

Role Overview

The Catering Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of dessert catering events, from pre-event planning to on-ground execution and post-event closure. This is a hands-on role, requiring leadership, coordination, and strong operational control.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Understanding client requirements, event flow, and dessert concepts
  • Coordinating with sales/design teams for menu finalization and event planning
  • Preparing event timelines, manpower plans, and execution checklists

On-Ground Event Execution

  • Leading dessert counters, live stations, and plated dessert service
  • Managing kitchen prep, packing, transport, and on-site setup
  • Ensuring timely service, presentation standards, and hygiene compliance

Team & Manpower Management

  • Supervising chefs, service staff, helpers, and temporary manpower
  • Assigning duties, shift planning, and task distribution
  • Maintaining discipline, teamwork, and performance on events

Quality Control & Brand Representation

  • Ensuring desserts match brand quality, taste, and visual standards
  • Handling last-minute challenges professionally during events
  • Acting as the brand’s point of contact at the venue

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in catering, banquets, QSR, hotels, or event food operations
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle large-scale events
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours (events, weekends)

Important Note

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
