Hi,
Urgent opening for Category Manager (DGM).
Key Responsibilities
o Oversee daily procurement, pricing, and fulfilment for fruits and vegetables.
o Maintain quality standards and reduce wastage/returns to meet customer expectations.
o Build and manage a robust vendor/farmer network (target up to 80 vendors).
o Negotiate best daily market rates and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
o Drive daily indent planning, demand forecasting, and auto-replenishment initiatives.
o Coordinate with internal sales and SCM teams to align supply with market needs.
o Lead projects to automate demand planning and inventory management.
o Design scalable supply chain models adaptable to market conditions and cost-reduction strategies.
o Own category P&L, analyze margins and tonnage using Excel/Tableau, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
o Develop and execute promotions and customer offers to increase sales tonnage.
