Job Title: Business Process Expert / Process Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Process Engineering & Analytical Thinking:

  Break down complex problems into clear, repeatable processes, steps, and resource plans. Standardize workflows, design decision gates, and eliminate inefficiencies using structured, data-driven approaches.

• Effort Estimation & ROI-Based Decision Making:

  Quantify effort, cost, break-even points, and expected business impact before execution. Decide whether initiatives should be executed, optimized, or discontinued. Ensure focus on high-value work and prevent premature execution.

• Six Sigma / Lean Implementation:

  Apply Six Sigma / Lean principles to reduce variation, optimize processes, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Hands-on experience with DMAIC is essential. Six Sigma Black Belt preferred; Green Belt acceptable with proven real-world delivery.

• Change Management & Process Enforcement:

  Drive adoption of new processes, address resistance, and ensure compliance. Make process improvements sustainable and consistently applied across teams.

• Applied Mathematics & Quantitative Reasoning:

  Use applied math skills for estimation, capacity planning, optimization, and KPI validation. Enable data-driven, accurate decision-making.

• Requirements Discovery & Critical Questioning:

  Ask the right questions upfront, challenge vague or incomplete inputs, and ensure clarity before committing resources. Prevent wasted effort and misaligned initiatives.

• Problem Solving:

  Identify root causes of systemic challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions using structured approaches such as DMAIC, 5 Whys, and Pareto analysis.

• Executive Dashboarding & KPI Governance:

  Design leadership dashboards that reflect operational truth and provide insights for informed decision-making.

• AI & Automation Context Awareness:

  Understand where AI, automation, or tooling can add real value—and where it does not—without being tool-focused.

Qualifications & Skills

• Analytical & Structured Thinking:

  Strong ability to break down complex problems, analyze data, and develop actionable, scalable solutions.

• Process Improvement Expertise:

  Hands-on experience applying Six Sigma / Lean principles to optimize processes and deliver measurable results.

• ROI & Effort Estimation:

  Skilled at accurately estimating effort, cost, capacity, and ROI to prioritize high-impact initiatives.

• Change Management & Process Enforcement:

  Proven ability to drive adoption, manage resistance, and ensure process compliance across teams.

• Applied Mathematics & Quantitative Skills:

  Strong command of algebra, estimation, and basic optimization for data-driven decision-making.

• Requirements Discovery & Critical Questioning:

  Proactively clarifies vague requirements and ensures solutions address the right problems.

• Problem Solving:

  Experienced in identifying root causes using structured frameworks (DMAIC, 5 Whys, Pareto) and designing sustainable solutions.

• Business & Financial Acumen:

  Comfortable with cost modeling, financial analysis, and building business cases to guide leadership decisions.

• Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  Excellent skills to influence cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts clearly.

Preferred:

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification (Green Belt acceptable with proven real-world implementation).
• Experience leading process improvements across multiple teams or functions in a measurable, high-impact way.
