Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Business Process Coordinator Intern. In this role, you will assist with analyzing and improving business processes, support quality management initiatives, and contribute to project management tasks. Your responsibilities will include identifying operational inefficiencies, collaborating with teams to drive process improvements, and preparing documentation and reports. You will also communicate project progress and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.


Responsibilities

Based on your notes in the image, here's what they'll do:

Cross-Department:

  • Manage all inter-department meetings and coordinate priorities
  • Create visibility dashboards so everyone knows what's being worked on
  • Track cross-team dependencies and blockers

Sales Operations:

  • Document sales processes and create run-books
  • Track leads, follow-ups, conversion rates, CRM activity
  • Create weekly/monthly sales reports and scorecards
  • Conduct lead review standups
  • Monitor team process adherence and identify training needs

Support Operations:

  • Distribute daily task lists and keep team updated
  • Document and enforce SOPs (ticket routing, escalation, resolution targets)
  • Create monthly support scorecards with KPIs
  • Run weekly standups and handovers
  • Identify at-risk customers and flag for intervention
  • Track team capacity and training needs

Marketing:

  • Manage marketing tasks and KRAs
  • Create monthly marketing scorecards
  • Track campaign metrics and performance

Monthly Reporting:

  • Generate standardized monthly scorecards for all teams
  • Present company-wide performance snapshots to leadership
  • Track trends and highlight variances


Requirements

  • Excel proficiency — Can create pivot tables, dashboards, VLOOKUP, reports (not just "I know Excel")
  • Task management tool comfort — Quick learner with Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or similar
  • Cross-functional communication — Can talk to technical teams, sales teams, and support without getting lost
  • Attention to detail — Creates accurate reports, catches data inconsistencies
  • Problem-solving mindset — Asks "why" and finds solutions that work for multiple teams
  • Accountability-focused — Believes tracking and visibility drive performance
  • Flexibility — Comfortable in startup environment where priorities shift frequently


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics (SQL, SAL, ARR, churn, CAC, etc.)
  • Customer support platform experience (HubSpot or similar)
  • Google Sheets or basic dashboard tools
