Job Description

Business Manager – Distribution Sales (Fans & Geysers) - Vijayawada

Territory:*Andhra and Telengana
Experience:* 15 - 20 yrs in FMCG / Appliance Distribution Sales
Salary:* ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,25,000/month + Incentives + Car Allowance
Reports To:* Regional Sales Head

📌 *Role Overview:*Own the _South Karnataka_ market for fans & geysers — build, grow, and optimize your distribution network. You’re the local market commander — turning dealers into partners, boosting shelf visibility, and crushing targets. Think “sales ninja” meets “channel architect.”✅ *Key Responsibilities:*🔹 *Sales Leadership*

Manage 8–12 key distributors
Drive primary & secondary sales, ensure 90%+ outlet coverage
Hit monthly/quarterly volume & margin targets — no excuses!

🔹 *Channel Excellence*

Recruit & onboard new dealers in under-penetrated towns
Run quarterly dealer meets, product trainings, incentive schemes
Resolve credit, delivery, or returns issues — fast & fair

🔹 *Market Intelligence*

Track competitor moves — pricing, promotions, new launches
Spot trends: which models sell where? Where’s the next hotspot?
Feed insights back to product & marketing teams

🔹 *Execution & Ops*

Monitor inventory health — prevent stockouts & dead stock
Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch & POD collection
Ensure 100% compliance with trade terms & company policies

🔹 *Reporting & Tech*

Daily/weekly dashboards (Excel-based) — sales, collections, pipeline
Maintain CRM records, track dealer performance, incentive claims
Present results to management — clear, confident, data-backed

🎯 *Must-Have Qualifications:*
✔️ 15–20 yrs in distribution sales — preferably in appliances/fans/geysers✔️ Proven success in managing P&L for a region✔️ Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills✔️ Willing to travel 60–70% — often overnight stays in regional towns✔️ Owns a 2-wheeler or car (car allowance + fuel reimbursement)✔️ Tech-savvy — comfortable with Excel, WhatsApp Business, basic CRM💼 *Perks & Benefits:*
