Job Description

Brand Head for SKF Bearing

1. Business Strategy & Planning

Formulate and implement annual business plans for SKF Bearings, aligned with company growth objectives.
Identify high-potential industry segments and develop strategies for market penetration.
Set sales budgets, pricing policies, and profitability goals for the brand.

2. Sales & Business Development

Drive sales performance through effective management of key accounts, OEMs, and industrial end-users.
Expand business through new customer acquisition and retention of existing clients.
Support regional sales teams in achieving targets by providing strategic direction, pricing support, and solution-based selling.

3. Channel & Distribution Management

Strengthen relationships with SKF and ensure compliance with brand policies, commercial terms, and sales targets.
Coordinate with SKF’s channel team for product availability, schemes, and inventory planning.
Monitor distributor and dealer performance to optimize market coverage and operational efficiency.

4. Brand Positioning & Marketing

Develop and execute brand promotion activities, product campaigns, and technical seminars in collaboration with SKF.
Ensure consistent branding, communication, and representation across all customer touchpoints.
Conduct training programs for sales engineers and channel partners to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.

5. Team Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor the SKF Bearings sales team to achieve performance excellence.
Foster a result-oriented, customer-centric, and collaborative culture within the team.
Monitor KPIs, sales analytics, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

6. Market Intelligence & Reporting

Track competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements to identify opportunities and threats.
Submit regular sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance analysis to management.
Recommend new product opportunities, pricing adjustments, or policy changes based on market data.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and strategic management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities.
Deep understanding of industrial bearings, rotating equipment, and mechanical applications.
Analytical mindset with strong decision-making capability.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and OEM partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Industrial) with MBA in Marketing preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in bearings or industrial product sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or brand management role.
Preferred Background: Candidates having direct experience with SKF, NSK, FAG, Timken, or authorized channel partners will be preferred.
