About The Opportunity

Operating in the IT services and digital product development sector, our Chennai-based team delivers innovative solutions across technology, SaaS, and startup ecosystems worldwide. We bridge visionary ideas and tangible products, championing excellence at every step. Join us as a Business Journalist and shape compelling narratives that drive thought leadership and community engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

Conduct and moderate interviews with founders and investors; translate complex subjects into clear, engaging stories and multimedia assets.
Pitch, write, and publish news, feature articles, and long-reads on technology, SaaS, and startup topics that resonate with diverse audiences.
Manage the editorial calendar: plan thematic content, commission contributors, and align each piece with brand voice and SEO objectives.
Co-host and support virtual and in-person events: develop agendas, secure speakers, coordinate logistics, and produce comprehensive post-event content.
Drive audience growth initiatives through email newsletters, social-media campaigns, and community AMAs to convert readers into loyal subscribers.
Monitor emerging tech trends and performance metrics; brief stakeholders and inform content strategy to position us as industry thought leaders.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in tech or startup journalism and a strong portfolio.
Mastery of AP-style writing, headline creation, SEO best practices, and fact-checking with impeccable grammar and structure.
Proficiency in CMS (WordPress), analytics (Google Analytics), and project-management tools (Trello, Jira).
Exceptional interviewing skills and the ability to distill technical jargon into compelling, accessible narratives.

Preferred

Familiarity with SaaS metrics, venture funding cycles, and product-led growth frameworks.
Experience producing or co-hosting webinars, podcasts, or social audio (Twitter/X Spaces), and basic video/audio editing skills.
