About Emerge Legal

Emerge Legal is a dynamic, mid-sized law firm specializing in regulatory compliance, contract management, dispute resolution, and legal advisory services for corporate clients across various sectors, including Food, Retail, Real Estate, and Technology. We are expanding and looking to bring on board a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to drive growth in the North India region.


Position Overview

As a Business Development Specialist (North), you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective clients, and enhancing the firm’s market presence in the North Indian market. You will work closely with the leadership team to implement strategies aimed at business expansion, particularly in the North, and contribute to achieving firm-wide growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Networking:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in North India through networking, client referrals, and industry events. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target sectors.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention:

  • Develop and execute client acquisition strategies for new clients in the region. Manage the client onboarding process and ensure long-term relationships by delivering exceptional client service.
  • Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth. Provide insights to the leadership team for strategic planning.
  • Proposal Development & Presentation:

  • Collaborate with the legal team to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients. Tailor offerings based on client needs and industry requirements.
  • Brand Building & Marketing:

  • Enhance Emerge Legal’s brand presence through industry events, webinars, and marketing campaigns. Act as a liaison between the firm and its stakeholders in the North Indian market.
  • Collaboration with Partners & Associates:

  • Work with senior partners and associates to align business development efforts with the firm’s overall objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams to ensure a seamless service delivery.
  • Sales Reporting & Performance Metrics:

  • Monitor and report on business development activities and sales pipeline. Track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the legal, consulting, or corporate services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the North Indian market and business trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on results and client satisfaction.
