We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Liaison Officer to join our team. Job Role: The Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in managing our Licenses & Permits Team and ensuring compliance with various statutory regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and excellent interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a comprehensive tracker (Excel/Google Sheet) for all statutory licenses, registrations, renewals, and approvals across business locations. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely renewals to avoid non-compliance or penalties. Maintain scanned and physical records of all licenses and applications. Liaise with external lawyers, consultants, and vendors for regulatory filings, site-specific licenses, and compliance-related documentation. Track assignment-wise progress and follow up regularly to ensure timely completion. Prepare briefs and share required information/documents with counsels. Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, HR, Admin, Legal, Finance) to collect inputs and documents required for compliance tasks. Support cross-functional teams during inspections, audits, and notices by regulatory bodies. Draft and manage formal communication with authorities, counsels, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Prepare compliance status reports, dashboards, and MIS for senior management. Maintain communication logs and ensure accurate documentation of all filings. Track regulatory changes, circulars, and updates relevant to applicable laws (e.g., FSSAI, LM, Shops & Establishment, PCB, etc.). Circulate key updates to concerned departments and flag action points. Maintain repository of SOPs, process documents, templates, and formats for recurring filings. Ensure proper record keeping (physical and digital) of submitted documents, approvals, and licenses. Support in preparing documents and checklists for government inspections or third-party compliance audits. Coordinate with departments to close audit findings or show-cause notices.
