Role Description

Emerge Legal is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join its team in Gurugram. As a Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing motions and other court documents, and assisting with depositions and court proceedings. You will support contract-related litigation, provide strategic legal advice, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients. This is a full-time, on-site position in Gurugram.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in law, including understanding and applying legal principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research, preparing legal memoranda, and analyzing case law.
• Experience in preparing motions and engaging in legal drafting.
• Knowledge and experience in handling depositions and court proceedings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent; admission to the Bar Council of India is required.
• Prior experience in litigation or contract-related legal services is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and manage multiple projects.
