Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Contract Lawyer at Emerge Legal, located in Gurugram. The candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, redlining agreements, and providing comprehensive legal advice. They will also handle contract negotiations, manage the entire contract lifecycle, and address legal matters related to commercial agreements, international trade, and business transactions. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with applicable laws, conducting due diligence, and managing legal risks for clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Contract Drafting, Vetting, and Redlining.
• Strong skills in Contract Negotiations and lifecycle management, along with experience in commercial agreements and international trade.
• Knowledge of corporate and commercial law, statutory compliance, and regulatory framework.
• Ability to conduct Legal Research, Due Diligence, and provide legal risk assessments.
• Proven track record in Litigation, business restructuring, or handling intellectual property rights is a significant advantage.
• 6-10 years of relevant experience in contract law and negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification. LLM or expertise in international trade law is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
