Role Summary

We are seeking an energetic Sales & Business Development Manager with at least 3 years of proven experience in general insurance or related financial services. The role is responsible for acquiring new business, growing existing accounts, and achieving revenue targets through direct sales, channel partnerships, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities across retail and commercial lines (motor, health, travel, property, liability, etc.).
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, partner channels, and field prospecting.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, needs assessment, policy proposal, negotiation, and closure.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, brokers, agents, and channel partners.
  • Work closely with underwriting, claims and operations teams to ensure smooth policy issuance and superior customer experience.
  • Achieve and regularly report against monthly/quarterly/yearly sales and revenue targets.
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals and documentation; ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, client presentations and training for channel partners as needed.
  • Provide market feedback and competitor intelligence to inform product and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain CRM records, update pipeline status and submit timely sales reports.
