Key Responsibilities:

Client Advisory & Risk Assessment

  • Understand client business models, operations, and risk exposures to recommend tailored general insurance solutions.
  • Conduct needs analysis and prepare risk notes for placement strategy.

Policy Structuring & Placement

  • Source competitive quotations from multiple insurers based on client requirements.
  • Compare policies in terms of coverage scope, premium, deductibles, warranties, exclusions, and policy conditions.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and premiums with insurers and underwriters.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, insurance companies, and key underwriters.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and insurers, ensuring seamless communication and execution.

Policy Lifecycle Management

  • Manage end-to-end insurance placement including issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
  • Monitor upcoming renewals and proactively engage with clients to review and update insurance programs.

Client Education & Communication

  • Educate clients about policy terms, claim procedures, risk management measures, and exclusions.
  • Present insurance proposals and coverage comparisons in an informed and consultative manner.

Claims Support

  • Provide post-placement claims assistance by coordinating with insurers and loss assessors.
  • Ensure timely submission of claims documentation and follow-up until resolution.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all processes are in line with IRDAI guidelines and internal compliance standards.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of client interactions, policy placements, and correspondence.

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Stay updated on market trends, new product offerings, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, or introducing innovative risk solutions to clients.
