Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Specialist to support our growth in the Chennai region. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving the adoption of our innovative environmental solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial segments. Engage with facility managers, builders, consultants, and decision-makers to promote Greenvironment’s offerings. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategy. Prepare and present compelling proposals, technical solutions, and commercial quotations. Drive the full sales cycle – from lead generation to deal closure. Collaborate with project, product, and customer success teams for seamless client onboarding and implementation. Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Maintain detailed records in CRM (Zoho) and generate regular sales performance reports. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or technical sales (experience in water/wastewater or sustainability sector is preferred). Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and travel across regions as required.
