Role OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Project Specialist Trainee to join our team as part of our Graduate Engineer Training (GET) program. This is a foundational, hands-on role for engineering graduates who aspire to grow in the field of water and environmental technology implementation. You will work closely with project managers, field teams, and clients across Chennai and other locations to support the planning, installation, commissioning, and servicing of our smart solutions. Key Responsibilities🔧 Project Execution & Field Support Assist in site assessments, preparation of BOQs, and technical planning for water & wastewater management systems Support installation, testing, and commissioning of IoT-based water treatment equipment and automation systems Coordinate with the operations and product teams for timely implementation and quality delivery 📋 Planning & Documentation Maintain installation schedules and ensure timely reporting of progress and issues Prepare site visit reports, commissioning checklists, and client sign-off documentation Ensure all project documentation is complete and submitted on time using internal tools (Zoho Projects, GE Dashboard, etc.) 🤝 Client Coordination Assist senior engineers during client handover, training sessions, and service support visits Ensure a positive client experience during execution and post-installation service 🔄 Service & Maintenance Support Participate in preventive maintenance visits and troubleshooting activities Work with the technical team to document and resolve issues in a timely manner Who Should Apply?🎓 Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related engineering disciplines 0–1 year of work experience (fresh graduates welcome) 🛠️ Skills Required: Strong interest in sustainability and water management Willingness to work on-site and travel to client locations Good technical aptitude, analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn Proficiency in MS Office, basic AutoCAD (preferred), and field reporting Excellent communication, team spirit, and a proactive work attitude What We OfferA learning-intensive, growth-oriented role in a purpose-driven organization Mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to real-world projects Opportunity to grow into project management or technical leadership roles Performance-based incentives and full-time confirmation after training period
