Job Description

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) with strong cold calling experience to help us connect with high-intent prospects across U.S.-based consumer apps, eCommerce, retail, and tech-driven companies.


This role requires excellent spoken English, confidence in outbound communication, and a strong understanding of B2B sales, especially when speaking to marketing decision-makers (founders, CMOs, growth leads).


You’ll be responsible for identifying potential leads, initiating conversations via phone, qualifying prospects, and booking meetings with decision-makers who could benefit from improving their tracking, attribution, and marketing performance.


The ideal candidate is proactive, goal-oriented, and comfortable communicating with senior professionals who value data clarity and growth results.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Make outbound cold calls to U.S.-based prospects from targeted industries (

    consumer apps, eCommerce, retail, SaaS, and tech

    ).
  • Identify and qualify leads based on their

    marketing growth needs

    ,

    tracking gaps

    , and

    data challenges

    .
  • Book discovery meetings for Y77’s strategy team and manage follow-ups and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and outcomes in CRM tools.
  • Handle objections confidently and guide conversations toward the value of

    smarter tracking and scalable growth

    .
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach messaging, targeting, and vertical focus.
  • Provide regular updates on call volume, connection rate, and meetings booked.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • 2–4 years of experience in a

    BDR, SDR, or telesales

    role with a focus on

    cold calling

    .
  • Strong spoken English and confident phone presence; must be fluent and articulate.
  • Experience reaching out to

    U.S. or international markets

    from India.
  • Comfortable speaking with

    marketing heads, founders, and decision-makers

    .
  • Familiarity with tools like

    Zoiper

    ,

    ZoomInfo, Apollo, Aircall, or HubSpot

    .
  • Ability to manage outbound KPIs and targets independently.
  • Strong listening and adaptability skills to connect with varied buyer personas.

    marketing analytics, paid media, and performance growth strategies

  • Familiarity with challenges faced by

    consumer apps, retail, eCommerce, and SaaS

    businesses in tracking, attribution, and campaign optimization.
  • Willingness to work partially overlapping
